I have a Master's Degree in Education, am a licensed teacher, and have taught middle-school, high-school, and college writing for over 25 years. I worked as a writing consultant at UNLV, working in all subject areas of writing, and as a technical writer for the Department of Engineering for 4 years.
I have experience working with most types of academic writing, including college application essays, SOPs (statements of purpose) for graduate school, theses and dissertations, and academic writing for publication, as well as college essays for various classes. I am also experienced in guiding technical writing in the areas of engineering and computer science.
I enjoy working with students (and faculty) at all levels, and have a strong background working with international or second-language writers. I am familiar with most style guides and many publication manuals. I am ready to meet you where you are and get you where you need to be to achieve your writing goals.
